Where can I find my tax code?

Look on your latest payslip, pension payslip or HMRC tax code notice. You can also find it in your Personal Tax Account. It is not your National Insurance number.

2 · Does it fit my situation?

Which pay figure should I use?

Use taxable pay before Income Tax and National Insurance, after salary sacrifice and pension deductions taken before tax. Add benefits and State Pension separately below. For monthly pay, use an average across the full tax year.
